New Album Coming August 6th
Aligned in Ruins, a band from Colorado Springs, Colorado is preparing to release an ambitious groove album on August 6th. Known for their hard-hitting verses and driving mid-tempo songs, they create a balance and intense experience for the listening audience.
The band began recording their debut full-length album, Cognitive Behavioral Torture, in the winter of 2023. The album features nine songs, with a runtime of over thirty-three minutes, showcasing the band’s best work and their unique sound.
Aligned in Ruins’ vocalist has a range of vocal capabilities from growls to high screams, reminiscent of Meshuggah and Hatebreed. Their sound is heavily influenced by Meshuggah’s atonal and rhythmic elements, as well as Lamb of God’s driving guitar riffs and melodic components.
Cognitive Behavioral Torture will be available on CD, as well as multiple digital formats. Aligned in Ruins plans to promote the album heavily through live shows and appearances.

Returning to Sunshine Studios August 22nd
Aligned in Ruins is scheduled to make a comeback on August 22nd at Sunshine Studios in Colorado Springs, where they will be opening for Perfectly Still, a touring Hard Rock band from Fargo, ND. Perfectly Still’s musical style is influenced by bands such as Breaking Benjamin, Sevendust, Papa Roach, and Beartooth. The event will feature additional bands, which will be announced in the coming month. Tickets for the show will be available from Aligned in Ruins at a discounted price.
